Safety in the workplace

Engen is fully compliant with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSAct) which governs the involvement of both management and worker representatives on health and safety committees at locations across the country.

Furthermore, it is Engen’s custom and practice to involve the employee-elected leadership and union officials in discussions on health and safety related matters at locations, even though there is no legal requirement or formal agreement in place with CEPPWAWU to do so.
