Truckers
Two organisations, Engen Petroleum Limited and FleetWatch magazine, both
dedicated to the well-being of the trucking industry and both imbibed with
a sincere desire to make a positive difference to the lives of all truck
drivers, linked hands some years ago to combine their efforts, resources
and enthusiasm to find tangible ways of impacting positively on the trucking
industry of Southern Africa. These two organisations continue to work together
with the objective of adding value and making a difference to the trucking
industry.
Initiatives include conducting eye tests at truck stops, presenting HIV/AIDS
awareness seminars and developing a host of printed educational information
dealing with issues such as
driver
health and safety, which are reproduced here.
